Cuba, country of natural musicians and the home of new musical values; values who without any academicals years or institutional discoveries, born like the grass in the country, so easy, in a friend’s party, in the living room of any home or even on the street’s corners, are the roots of the more explosive Ragga and Hip-Hop phenomena in Cuba, just called with the name of Candyman.

Ruben Cuesta Palomo starts this musical roots like a pioneer in Cuba. Candyman, as people know him, as soon as possible, spread his music in different technological media in all the country, creating a special taste where his voice and his lyrics make a brand-new-way to make this music. Suddenly, the entire country hears his music, made it with Cuban-street-talk-words and funny ways to say something.

This is was eight years ago, the moment when he start to make this music with big influence of Jamaican music, that its very close of his earth, Santiago de Cuba. Now he has three years working as a professional in his career, giving a big strength in his way to the top.

Today is a team where the brothers Daniel Carnago Jr. and Santiago Carnago Jr. (DJ Bebe & DJ Shaggo) make the musicals arrangements in a new fusion with the Cuban music and Ricardo Casamayor (Pucho Man) with José Dariel Donatien (Gagoman) make with their voices the exact sound to satisfy the most exigencies. The combination is perfect and the newest Candyman´s songs becoming popular in just a few minutes.

Without any doubt, the most controversial Cuban musician in this time is this 28-old young man, salty and respectful, who even doesn’t show the vanity of those that are famous.
